Welcome to VelvetShieldz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of velvetshieldz.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

The Site is operated by:

2. Products

We sell premium suede iPhone cases, wallets, and related accessories. Product images are for illustration; suede is a natural material and slight variations in color and texture between the product photos and the delivered item may occur.

Some products can be personalized (engraving, custom text, or customer-uploaded images) through our product configurator. Personalized products are made to order based on the specifications you provide.

3. Personalized Products & Uploaded Content

When you use the configurator to submit text or upload an image, you confirm that:

• You own the content or have the right to use it, and its use does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• The content is not unlawful, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise offensive.

You grant us a limited license to reproduce your submitted content solely for the purpose of manufacturing and fulfilling your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any personalized order that, in our reasonable judgment, violates the above. If we cancel for this reason, we will refund any payment made.

You are responsible for checking your personalization before ordering. Spelling, capitalization, and font choice are engraved exactly as submitted. We do not correct typos.

4. Ordering & Payment

• All prices are listed in EUR. Prices displayed in other currencies are approximate conversions for convenience; the charged amount is the EUR price converted by your payment provider at their rate.
• An order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability; in such cases you will be fully refunded.
• Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

• Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Available shipping methods and rates depend on your delivery address and the items in your order.
• Our prices include the product price and, where selected, the shipping cost shown at checkout. Any third-party charges arising in connection with delivery are not included in our prices and are your responsibility as the recipient.
• If a parcel is refused or cannot be delivered and is returned to us, we will refund the product price but not the original shipping cost.
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at team@velvetshieldz.com with photos and we will resolve it.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

Standard (non-personalized) products: If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at team@velvetshieldz.com with your order number. You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us. Goods must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by you.

We will refund the purchase price (including standard outbound shipping, if the whole order is returned) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return shipment, using your original payment method.

Personalized products: Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. Engraved and custom-configured products therefore cannot be returned or exchanged, except where the product is defective or not as ordered (see Section 7).

7. Legal Guarantee & Defective Products

If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity: if a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or — where those are not possible — a price reduction or refund, in accordance with the law of your country of residence (minimum 2 years from delivery in the EU).

This applies to all products, including personalized ones. If your product arrives defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, contact us at team@velvetshieldz.com with photos and your order number, and we will make it right at no cost to you.

Normal wear of a natural suede product (patina, softening, color evolution with use) is not a defect.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the VelvetShieldz name, logo, product designs, photography, and text — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Site or our products for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with the Site's security or operation, transmit malicious code, scrape or harvest data, or infringe our or any third party's intellectual property. We may refuse service or cancel orders where we reasonably suspect abuse or fraud.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Privacy

Our processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and severed if necessary; the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA, you additionally benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
