How it works

1. Reach out to us at personalization@velvetshieldz.com with your idea. A few words is enough — you don't need to know exactly what you want yet.
2. Our designers send you a few proposals based on your request. Mockups, sizing, placement options.
3. We refine the design with you until it's right. No limits on revisions until you're happy.
4. Once approved, we prepare a custom order and send a personal payment link.
5. After payment, your case is engraved by hand and prepared for shipping.

Good to know

• Personalization is available on every case in our collection.
• Engraved areas remain just as durable as the rest of the case — the suede does not weaken or thin where the laser passes.
• For logos or complex artwork, send us the highest-resolution file you have. Vector formats (.svg, .ai, .pdf) work best.
• Personalized orders take a few additional working days. We don't rush this — every engraving is checked twice before it leaves our hands.

Worldwide shipping.

We ship to most countries. Once your order is confirmed, processing typically takes 1-3 working days. Standard delivery times vary by destination:

• Europe: 3–7 working days
• United Kingdom & Switzerland: 4–8 working days
• North America: 6–12 working days
• Rest of the world: 7–15 working days

Delivery times exclude weekends and public holidays. During major sales periods or holidays, processing may take slightly longer — we'll let you know if anything affects your order.

Tracking.

Every order is shipped with a tracking number, emailed to you the moment your package leaves our workshop. You can follow it from dispatch to your door.

Customs and duties.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, local customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are the responsibility of the recipient. We declare every shipment accurately to keep this process as smooth as possible.

14-day returns.

If your case isn't right, return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund — no questions asked. The case must be unused, unmarked, and returned in its original packaging. Personalized cases are made specifically for you and are not eligible for return unless there's a manufacturing defect.

Defects and quality issues.

Every case is inspected by hand before it ships. If something does slip through, contact us at support@velvetshieldz.com within 14 days of receiving your order and we'll make it right — replacement, repair, or full refund.

Will the suede wear over time?

Yes — and that's intentional. Quality suede develops a soft patina with use, deepening slightly in tone and gaining character. Cared for properly, this aging looks beautiful, not damaged. We don't try to engineer this away because it's part of what makes natural materials feel premium over time.

Is the case slippery?

The opposite. Suede has natural grip — softer than silicone, less slick than leather, with a tactile texture that holds securely in the hand. It's one of the reasons we chose this material in the first place.

Is it MagSafe compatible?

Yes. Embedded magnets align cleanly with all official MagSafe chargers, wallets, and accessories. No fiddling, no missed connections.

Can I clean it if it gets stained?

For dust and dry marks, brush gently with a soft dry cloth. For light stains, dab with a damp cloth — never rub or scrub, as this can lift the suede fibers. Avoid soap, alcohol, and chemical cleaners. For deeper stains, contact us — we can advise based on the specific case and stain type.

Does the case protect the camera and screen?

Every case has a raised edge that sits proud of both the screen and the camera array. Set the phone face-down on a desk and the glass never makes contact. The camera bezel sits below the case rim, so the lenses are protected on flat surfaces and against everyday knocks.

Is the case heavy?

No. Suede is one of the lightest premium materials available. The case adds minimal weight while still offering full structural protection — most customers say they forget it's there until they go to use the phone.

How long does shipping take?

Standard delivery is 3-7 working days within Europe and 6-12 working days for international orders. You'll receive a tracking number when your case leaves our workshop. Full details are in our Shipping & Guarantees section
